AMAFHH Fundraising Dinner
AMAFHH Federation’s first Annual Fundraiser Dinner in the spirit of 15th Shabaan, the Wiladaat of Imam Mahdi (a.s). The Fundraiser Dinner encompass an evening of Entertainment, Presentations, a Dinner Banquet (with a 3 course meal) and a Charity Auction for the guests.
AMAFHH Federation Fundraising Dinner 2014. Over 200 community representatives supporting AMAFHH Federation. Special Guests Mr Chin Tan, Chairperson of the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Mr Andrew Crisp APM Assistant Commissioner, Victoria Police, 5 Great Shia Scholars and Hameed Attai (Nasheed Artist ). Over 2 months of planning, executed by Shia youth from different communities.
SOME FACTS:
1. AMAFHH Fundraising dinner is the first Shia event which had equal representation of Religious scholars, community leaders, youth, females and Victorian government officials.
2. 90% of AMAFHH’s 30 founding members are youth below the age of 30 from different background. 70% of whom are professional females.
3. 80% of AMAFHH’s volunteers are professional Shia female youth
4. 50% of AMAFHH’s fundraising dinner attendees were female leaders making a difference in the community
5. 98% of feedback received from attendee were extremely positive and requested more such events.
